Leafing through an old family photo album with my children one day I was struck by how little I knew about the faces and places on the pages before my eyes. I longed to provide my kids with more information about their heritage. From my 30-years experience as a video producer came the seed of an idea.

Video Heirlooms is the fruit of that seed, and I am committed to helping people record and preserve their family histories in an affordable, professionally produced digital video DVD presentation. Everyone has a story to tell and a person remembered is a life celebrated.

I take great pride in recording the stories of our military heroes. As a Viet Nam era veteran, I am especially sensitive when working with war veterans. My father saw combat in World War II and died when I was young, without ever having talked about his experience. So I understand the emotionality of war experiences and appreciate the sacrifice made serving our country.

A video retrospective of the bride and groom shared with friends and family at the rehearsal dinner, ceremony or reception is a lovely way to connect the history of two families. Photographs of the bride and groom from childhood to present day tell a story set to their favorite music.

Video Heirlooms bridges the distance between you and your grandchild, allowing you to read a bedtime story to him or her every night. Settle into your most comfortable chair and read your favorite book to your grandchild as though he or she is sitting on your lap. I will record the reading, as well as the pictures from the book, and produce a video presentation that can be enjoyed now, and handed down for generations.

A video memorial is a lovely tribute to a family member or friend. Through pictures, video, on-camera interviews or with just music and images, I will create a sensitive and moving chronicle in celebration of their life.

Video will reading has become a popular and accepted form of one’s Last Will and Testament. Courts recognize the format as accurate evidence of testamentary capacity. In the comfort of your home or in your attorney’s office, I will record you reading your will. This service includes a certificate of authenticity.
